So after months of electrical issues I've found that my Voltage Regulator is bad, explains my voltage hitting 15.2 volts and other days 12.5.... the lady who connected the battery tester to my battery had a huge spark when connecting and said that it's never had to her before and it scared her.

So I need help finding the correct alternator replacement, I'm looking to go used but would like to know if it's possible to get a higher output alternator but nothing drastic, still OEM?

I read somewhere but can't remember where, that a higher amperage Alternator is available. But if not advisable then a direct OEM would be fine.
