Good story! My dad never wanted me in a fast car. I took him for a drive years down the road after my many vehicles. We took a spin in the Z28 scratching the tires in 3rd and the look on his face was priceless!
Later, when I got my SS, he came into town and wanted to see the new beauty. I offered him a drive around the block and he kindly declined...
I think he was a little worried I'd get that heavy foot again.
