Yah a real apples to bowling balls comparison for sure and I can't see who you'd be appealing to with this statement. However its not crazy to see how both have gained power.
Enough Canadians were good with the legalization of weed at the federal level and this was the big promise that got him in. I'm good with it. However that didn't mean we wanted to see Jim compete with Jane in sports. Lets not talk about covid. He's going to have to lie in the bed he's made next year or asap if PP can garner enough support for non confidence.
Incumbents have done poorly worldwide recently and this was just another example of the people wanting change and feeling the issues important to them aren't being heard.
