I hope so, but the rumor mill says that all the small V8 light truck diesels may not go anywhere. The big 3 don't think truck buyers want to pay the extra cost, and if they do- they'd just get the 2500 instead.

It's not the fuel cost, it's the up front cost because they expect it to be between 3500 and 6000 more per vehicle on the sticker. I guess Jeeps are different because Jeeps sell all over the world and a diesel would make it more competitive everywhere else.
