Traditionally, I would agree with you. In this case though, I remember reading the lead engineer at the Colorado press launch saying he believes it'll turn out to be one of the most durable engines GM has ever built based on the design, diesel elements, and the testing regimen they put it through. Take that for what it's worth. We'll see.
