But the NFL does not want to rub salt in the wound they just lost their season 4 plays in so they gift them the win.
The Bills still won the division and the Jets still missed the playoffs.

This shows up at the nine-second mark of this replay, but before being too harsh on the officials, take a look at the 24-second mark. An official seeing it from that perspective might be inclined to think that Morris was already blocked and tripped himself rather than seeing it as Surratt actively tripping him.
It just goes to show that what we see on the live broadcast and replay angles are often a lot different than what the officials see at field level."
