If you look at it as sort of a cross between a car and a simulator and not as a car with fake exhaust and vibrations there is real potential.

Simulators are fun.

And the better the simulator the more your body does not know the difference from the real thing. So with a good enough simulator you can sit in your living room and lap Laguna Seca and get virtually (I did that on purpose ) the same experience as actually being there.

One time I fell "skiing" down a VR hill that would be too hard for me in real life. To the rest of the world I was some doofus who fell down in the middle of the room for no reason at all. For me, being in over my head on the ski run was all too real.

So back to the Charger... if they can get that thing dialed in well enough that your body is fooled into thinking you are driving an 800HP ICE muscle car it could be riotously fun.
