This is the guy I was talking about who goes to multiple tracks. In this video he races several Hellcats including one on drag slicks, pulling 1,000 hp. That one curb-stomped him. I am by no means saying that these cars are better cars than the cars the are racing. I’m just pointing out that they are very capable cars and even though their primary design focus is NOT fast performance car, they still check that box with ease. |
Reread my post. I know Teslas can beat Hellcats and do so on a regular basis. That is beyond question to the point that I don't even know why it is interesting anymore.
The only thing I was pointing out is that the Hellcat in the video is, if the trap speed is real, a low 10 sec car. So the video is either staged or the Hellcat driver sucks so bad as to make any race meaningless.
Like I said in my original post - there are plenty of Teslas that can beat the Hellcat in the video, but not the one that it "raced"
