Whether you’re talking a Model 3 or Model Y there’s a big difference between a Long Range Dual Motor (with or without the $2k performance upgrade) and a Performance. The difference is like if you go back a few years and took a Model S Dual Motor versus a Model S Plaid. We’re talking SS vs ZL1 level of difference. The Dual Motor would be freaky fast. The Plaid is a Hellcat stomper. The Model 3 Performance is basically the Model 3 version of the Plaid, but two motors instead of three. But the motors are not the same motors as in the Long Range Dual Motor.

This video is 5 years old. It’s Throttle House so I think we can assume it’s fair. Model 3 Performance vs Charger Hellcat. FF to 3:25 for the dig, 4:55 for the roll. The 2024 Model 3 Performance has improved performance over the 2019 in this video.
