Don't much care. Older than that now. I see many old guys now drive C8s in my area. Drive whatever you enjoy.
Any age can buy a car to try to impress others either by it's expense and brand or sports car image or bro-dozer truck. If a person gets old enough safety features such as driver aids does play into decisions. Nice to have adaptive cruise and lane keeping and beep when approaching slow or stopped cars for example. Even my young adult child took advantage of emergency braking when the cars on the highway stopped more suddenly than anticipated. You do You as they used to say.
