I think the prices for them are insane though. The 5.7 TPI cars should command decent prices but the 5.0 cars should not, imo.

It’s my generation (80s kids) driving the prices up on all mint 3rd gen’s. Even 305s. If it’s in nice shape, hasn’t been driven hard and put away wet, and has all of its factory setups, they’re gaining value big time.
Those are the cars we wanted to buy new when we were kids but if we were lucky we got a pile of rattling junk 3.4 or Iron Duke ‘87 for our 16th birthday around 1992-96.
I knew it was bound to happen about 10 years ago when late 2nd gen’s started creeping up. Smogged down lumps under the hood but a nice ‘77-81 were starting to top the $20k mark not long after they were “not special Camaros”
