I compared the 225 cam to the 230 cam with my setup. So only thing different it the cam and everything else is the same. Both cams also have the full 4 degree cam (8 degree crank) retard coming full on at 6000 rpms.

So I used the degreed valve event timing Joey gave me. I assumed it was 0.050 timing as well, so I used the program to fit the rest of the cam lobe ramp to find the actual opening points. So error may come from the fact I directly measured both my 0.050 valve event timing and the 0.006 timing on the 230 cam, but to model the 225 cam I just used the (what I assume was 0.050 timing) timing that Joey posted and the advertised LSA from BTR on their cam card. I think it might look negligible, and that you wouldn't think just being off just a little on the sub 0.050 lift lobe curve, but I think it makes more difference than you think. So you can see where it seems the 225 comes very close to winning out over the 230 even though the 230 is supposed to be the bigger, more agressive cam.
