Stats can be highly misleading. How many QB's pass for 200 yards and two TD's in the fourth quarter because their team is getting blown out.
It's like bad teams that look great against the pass... because they can't stop the run
So I don't know, it's situational.
Lamar will win this year and he deserves it as much as anybody but at the end of the day its as much a popularity contest as anything.
