Someone looking at the V8 trims can over look some of the things people like to nit pick, like the trunk opening/size space inside visibility etc. They can over look those because the performance is so insane. Someone looking at the entry trims, isn't going to over look those things and unfortunately those customers are the ones that make up the bulk of the volume.
Actually from 2020-2024 sales of the V8 models have been just over 50% (53% if I am remembering correctly). Someone figured out a way to get all the window stickers from 2020-2024 models and posted info about each car sold in excel files on this forum. I was surprised to see sales of v8’s that high as I also thought it was a lower percentage.
