It's not all about stats.
Someone who compiles a lot of yards in garbage time after their team is blown out will have great stats.
Someone who's team shuts it down early because they are blowing someone out will not have great stats.
I am not pointing to any particular person, only that stats can lie.
No sane GM wouldn't trade their QB for Patrick Mahomes. That includes Buffalo. And... and I am being serious... there are only a small handful of teams that wouldn't trade for CJ Stroud. The Chiefs wouldn't, but everyone else would at least give it a long hard look.
So trotting out a bunch of stats to support Josh Allen is kind of fun, but in the end at best meaningless and at worst misleading.
I also stand by my assertation that this year Stroud has been more valuable than Josh Allen and it isn't even close.
