I was watching the Steelers at Ravens game and it looked like the Refs were letting them play.
On the first Pitt TD by Harris the DT was pulled to the ground chest first to open the hole a flagrant hold at the point of attack
Ravens next possession deep in their own end LT has DE by shoulder pad neck opening while he is running toward the QB its a sack without the hold.
No call.
So who knows what they were told by the league office.
Last Tuesday on the Pat MCafee show Pat talked about speaking with the White Hat(head ref) before the Mich vs Bama game.
He mentioned what a great guy he was and that the Ref said in a pre game meeting with his crew that he told them to be invisible
and I quote:
"We are here as observers of this game and not to be the focus only throw flags on flagrant fouls or on player safety"
Basically let them play
