I get what you’re saying and I THOUGHT the Eagles would start to get hot against the Seahawks but they didn’t. Teams that go to the Super Bowl beat up on bad teams. The largest margin of victory this season for the Eagles was 14 points. And surprisingly it came against a great Miami team but I remember watching that game Miami shot themselves in the foot too many times so I chaulk that one up to the other team playing bad versus the Eagles playing well (for the defense that it as the offense actually did play well).
This team just hasn’t been the same since the 49ers punched them in the mouth. While I had the game @ Dallas as a loss going into the season because when there’s two good teams in the same division they almost always split. The way they came out for that game and the way they lost really made me start to believe this team just doesn’t have what it takes. The Seahawks game confirmed it.
Also I agree that great teams always have one let down throughout the year and the Eagles already “wasted” their letdown against the Jets. I truly believe their offense has been figured out. They’ve scored, 19, 6 and 17 the last 3 weeks. The Seahawks do not have a great defense. Also the Eagles are the worst defense on 3rd down and have been all season. Really confused by this because the D line has a bunch of pass rushers. That stat will keep them from winning in the playoffs even if the offense gets back on track. Jalen hurts I also believe leads the league in turnovers. He is turning into Carson wentz and playing hero ball. This absolutely pains me because I am a huge Jalen Hurts fan. Hoping they get a new offensive coordinator that fixes this before it’s too late.
