I've owned 8 Corvettes over the years. My first a 427 1969. They've all been autos. Plenty of handshaker cars and trucks in my past but bailed on them 30+ years ago with knee issues. I'm not into road racing. My horsing around was drag racing. So why the Corvettes? Just like 'em.

Just as easy/hard to get in and out of a C7 as my ZL1. I think the Camaro doors are bigger so they are harder to get out of in tight spaces.

And it's quicker bone stock per Car & Driver (2015 presser)
The Z06 sprinted through the benchmark 0-to-60-mph measure in just 2.95 seconds and that it annihilated the quarter-mile in an equally impressive 10.95 at 127 mph.

I never ran either to see what I get but my Z06 felt quicker to my butt dyno.
Fair enough, thank you. My backspacing finger got a bit too heavy, but you really didn't give us much to go by, let's be honest

I guess I just wasn't born a Corvette guy and will never be one. The C6 is too raw for me, the C7 is just okay, the C8 isn't even a Corvette, it's a Euro car with a Ferrari-like screamer engine. Nothing wrong with any of them, though, and I understand your preference for the faster-than-SS C7, but I'll stick with the Camaro
