Well maybe I sort of misread the big graph- but you'll see on the full presentation which I posted yesterday (as always Zeus, a day late and a dollar short

-jk big guy) they show the following slide:
Which shows the 5.7 and a 6.4 for "beyond 2010"
It also shows the current engine line up:
Which shows everything from 1 of the 2.4s to the 4.7 V8 replaced by a single V6 model which will be primed for NA or FI applications.
Since these will be the only 8s "beyond 2010" and the slide show shows the development plan through 2014- I assumed that means the 5.7 will be in cycle until then. If they were going to dump the 5.7, now would be the time to do so. 13 engines currently reduced to 8- which makes sense.
