I unfortunately hit a nail and need to replace the whole tire because it’s on the side of the tire. I’m at about 5600 miles. The dealer said replacing the one back tire should be fine but I’m wondering if I should be really replacing both. I would prefer to only replace one but want to know if I’m going to run into any potential issues?

I have fidelity roadside hazard package as well, but I’m not sure they would cover 2. Tires are stock Camaro 1SS Goodyear tires.
