It had me looking at the F-150 but decided the 6.6L or Ford 7.3L were what I wanted. I wish the other guy luck with his 1500, but never would I buy one. I couldn’t wait to get that all pulled from the Camaro.

Edit - from GM Authority:
I know you got the GMC which is good. I’ve got a ‘22 Silverado 2500 HD with the 6.6 gas motor. The GM 6.6 is a better power plant than the 7.3, better fuel mileage, similar power and a ton more durable. Ford has had a lot of problems with cam/lifter failures resulting in new engines installed under warranty. We’ve had six 7.3 failures in our fleet at work out of 20-25 trucks and not a single major 6.6 gas issue.
That said I love my Silverado, and I like the ‘24 refresh even more. The 6.6 gas with the Allison is a sweet combo. I’ve driven a couple of them now.
