IMHO, Tesla plug is an easier to handle plug over CCS. Good move by Ford and hopefully leads to overall standardization.

Smart move on Tesla but imo stupid on Ford and anyone who buys a Ford who has this.
With this announcement Tesla also announced that any non Tesla owner who wishes to use their supercharger must sign up for a Tesla subscription costing $13 a month. This is on top of the cost they already charge you for using the charger. So it's not going to cost Ford a dime to use Tesla's port and chargers but will cost their buyers. I can see a lot of buyers getting pissed off because of this and Ford losing sales.
CCS is the standard in every country except for the US. Once the bigger manufacturers start selling EV's in larger quantities here, I would totally expect them to throw their money and weight around and force US to make CCS the standard here as well.
