Hey folks,
It's me again.
I was using no lift shift almost exclusively on the track yesterday, trying different RPMs. I've learned that switching to the next gear with NLS when you see yellow lights on the windshield projection instead of red lights leads to a way smoother shift. There is no "BRRR" sound like when you do it closer to 6000-6200rpm and see red lights.
Was I doing it wrong all the time? Green lights, yellow lights, red lights and then NLS before red lights start to flash. You have slight kick and hear loud BRRR from the exhaust when shifting.
If you shift at yellow lights, there is no exhaust BRRR sound and it feels way smoother. But is it the fastest way to accelerate on the straight on track?
