Well,unlike GM,which showed all its cards about,oh,4 years ago,Ford wants people to actually get excited about what this car will actually look like.
As much as i love the new Camaro,i think GM really screwed the pooch on its timing,not because of 4 dollar gas,but because everyone and their mother has known what this car will look like forever. Everyone knew what it would weigh,what the interior looked like,knew it would get a Corvette powerplant,the V6 was a surprise though. There's no drama,no excitement,press-wise.....good luck getting any press come car show season,it would take a Z28 to steal the new Mustangs thunder in LA and Detroit. On top of that,GM is apparently ashamed of their SS,since all they care about or to show is the RS.
It's exciting getting a new Camaro(finally),but i believe Ford is going to get all the press in the fall and spring. Hopefully GM is holding out a Z28 to show off in LA.
