I never really understood the Case Keenum trade last year he just didn't seem like a fit.
Getting Case for 1/2 price was a good move as the Browns kept half his salary
But at this point in his career JA17 doesn't or didn't need a vet mentor.
I think Josh missed Davis Webb last year.
He is not a great BU QB skill wise but he has an elite brain.
When you seen Josh come off the field Webb would meet him at the bench and they would view the tablet and go over what they saw
He followed Daboll last year because he wanted to get into coaching and now he is the QB coach at Denver.
