You need 5 good/great linemen so 8m each for 2 guards 12m for a center 18m for a LT and 10-12m for a RT

Thats 56m for your O line

2 outside WR's at 15-20m so we will say 35m

1 slot WR at 6-10m

I Star TE 8-16m depending on experience

I dual threat RB 5m

Thats another 53m or so and your almost at half your cap without your QB's 40m

I know you can draft and sign cheap FA's but you need to get lucky

Your at 150m just to field an elite offense now a days of course like I said plug and play a cheaper guy here or there but you get what you pay for
I get what you’re saying now. The nfl has definitely changed. It’s become you pay a few certain positions all the money (qb, left tackle, wide receiver, pass rushers and cornerbacks) and the rest get peanuts. My counter to what you just explained though is the eagles were paying hurts peanuts and had a stacked defense and offense. They just totally got out schemed by Reid and bienemy when it came to the chiefs offense vs the eagles defense.

As an Eagles fan I was afraid of this the game before. I thought Shanahan was going to out scheme Gannon but he somehow didn’t account for Hassan Reddick (you can’t block him with George kittle. That led to the purdy injury).

Unfortunately for the Eagles multiple starters on defense are free agents. Anyone who gets bradberry next year is getting an absolute stud at corner.
