Another player that comes to mind is Andrew Luck. Ain’t no one ever said he should retire or sit out. And then he retires and everyone is in shock.

I think Pickett flies under the radar because he is on a team that was not a contender earlier in the season they have won a few to get back in it as a long shot.

The thing is concussions are bad but everyone is effected differently.
I have had my share from playing sports and thankfully I suffered no serious effects(then again maybe I am so out of it I can't tell)
I guess if you don't have a brain to start with it can't get damaged
