I made a deal with myself to be smoke free by the time I get my car. One of my better ideas, if only I was better at avoiding the cigs. The dang things jump into my fingers already lit when I’m not looking. No you say?...oh yes they do!

I did good last attempt a few years ago until someone pissed me off. And you know how that is.. it’s either kill the idiot, or go out and have a smoke. Because... no one has ever been issued death by lethal injection for smoking (guess maybe because it would be the same thing?) and I’m almost certain killing is illegal (excluding TX).

Needless to say, this smoke free thing isn’t going well. :(
I made the same deal about my car. AND to all these guys on here. I'm gripped. It's so easy for a non-smoker to look down on a smoker and to tell them to just simply quit. I did the same thing during the NINE YEARS after I quit the first time. (smoked for 7 years, quit for nine, picked it back up )

Guys, the first time was really hard. This time is insane. I'd almost murder for one after a few days.

Chantix scares the hell out of me.

I got a million excuses to continue and 2 million good reasons to quit. It's not that easy the second time. I have no doubt I will, but I gotta find that 'Way'. I know, I know, "Where there's a will there's a way", but easier said than done.

DO NOT START BACK. THE SECOND TIME IS MUCH MUCH MUCH HARDER. PLEASE TAKE THIS TO HEART.

I thought I'd just have a few for the hell of it. OMG, I can't explain it.

Here is how I quit smoking. The wife told me either quit smoking or you ain't gettin' none. That was such an easy decision.
Mine ain't that strong.
