I wouldn't doubt it, but I wonder if the profit margin on EVs far exceed combustion vehicles for manufacturers? I haven't researched it nor care to (no one is paying me for my opinions anyway), but if so, that would explain the rush to abandon gas and go to electric. It's odd because EV is a much simpler machine that requires less maintenance.


In all honesty, I could give a falling fig about my car's design. I just need something reliable to get me around town. If these jokers can actually pull off upgrading the infrastructure to accommodate a few hundred thousand EVs, then so be it.
