I think it will take GM, Ford, etc some time to learn efficient packaging of EV's. Or they are just going for what's cheaper than efficient.

Tesla has figured out how to get a frunk, a 250 kwh charger, etc. But they do have the charging port in the back vs front so that could contribute to it.

Note: No frunk isn't a deal breaker for me either. But curious about the engineering decisions, etc that led to no frunk.
