The thing about getting a 400z for under 40k can be said about any new car launch. Eventually it will come back to normal.

I believe you can get more from an LT1 with a blower than you can get out of a 400Z + (insert *cost to supercharge LT1* here). The vr30 in the 400Z will need significantly expensive upgrades once it reaches the limits of the factory hardware after FBO+tune.
