Has anybody else been watching auctions on Bring a Trailer lately? The winning bids are absolutely insane. Here’s a few examples:

1970 Mustang Boss 429: $329,500
2020 Shelby GT350R Heritage Edition: $171,350
1994 Toyota Supra Turbo: $135,000
2020 Shelby GT350R Heritage Edition: $167,000
2020 Shelby GT350R Heritage Edition: $166,000
1963 Corvette Split window: $227,000
1997 Toyota Supra Turbo: $135,000
1971 DeTomaso Pantera: $109,000

There are more. I recall a Toyota MR2 going for $62,000. I bought mine for $9,000. Nowhere near the pristine condition of the one that sold for $62k, but dayum.
