Modified 6th gen A10: Driveline Concerns regarding drag strip tires

Hello,

My 2020 2SS A10 is slightly modified and I heard from several members of the community that you shouldn't run sticky tires on the vehicle on the track because of driveline tolerances related to the automatic transmission.

Can someone elaborate on this please? I am considering a Cam Kit and 416 build for my car, with the consideration of supercharging later, but worry about the driveline.

My shop says they've built a 2021 Camaro with 900hp on the stock driveline but they did specify this was an M6 with an upgrade done to the clutch.

Thanks!
