Hello from Nebraska
Well, I could have sworn I already did this, I've been a member since April 2020. Anyway, I picked up a 2013 ZL1 in October 2019 and have really enjoyed this car. Cam, headers, pulleys, CAI, cat delete, injectors, custom tune, etc. really woke it up.
Unfortunately, it only had 19,XXX miles on it and it's black...impossible to keep clean. Sexy as heck, but I spent more time detailing it than I did driving it. I wanted to keep it as pristine as a driven car can be, with low miles, so I didn't drive it much. When I bought it, it was ultimately a means to eventually get my first true love, a Gen 1...specifically a nice '67 or '68.
I've had it for two years and with the way used car prices have been, I had an opportunity to make a good chunk of cash so I sold her last night to a dealership. It's bittersweet. I'll miss the car, it was absolutely flawless and hands down, the nicest thing I've ever owned, but I don't have to stare at it in the garage for 6 months waiting for the temps to warm and the salt to get washed off the road. I don't have to detail it every time I get it out. Hopefully the next owner will just enjoy it for what it is, and less about what the resale value is.
