[Need4Camaro]

This irritated the hell out of me last night.

I was in my Prius on the freeway and of course there was someone in the left lane holding up traffic. I was in the left lane behind the car that was behind the left lane hogger. There was a Pickup truck in the center lane and his nose was at about my rear bumper so I sped up to overtake him to pass on the right as I had waited behind the left lane hogger for a considerable amount of time and they made 0 effort to move over or speed up. Well the pickup gets pissed off and speeds up to block me in… then proceeds to try to cut me off in the left lane. I slowed down and got behind the pickup and moved over to the right lane and passed everyone.

About a mile down the road the pickup catches up and overtakes me and jumps in the center lane ahead of me and slowly de-accelerates, not braking but just letting off the gas as he descinds in speed trying to slow me down and continued to slow down well below the speed limit. I move over to the left lane then he guns it and over takes me so I can’t pass him, jumps in the left lane and cuts me off at close range hoping I would panic and hit the barrier. I just move back to the center lane and return to my cruising speed then he jumps back in the center lane and tries again. He does this multiple times until we approach vehicles ahead of us.

There was a 18 Wheeler in the right lane and a car in the center lane. The pickup is still performing his speed up / slow down technique … slowing way down whenever he’s infront of me and speeding way up when I go to another lane. This time the left lane was the only clear lane and I already knew what he was going to try to do so I jumped over to the left lane like I was going to try to pass the two vehicles I mentioned before by using the left lane and sure enough he sped up and cut me off jumping in the left lane to block me in behind the vehicles ahead as well as block the rest of traffic as well, but after he overtook me and jammed on his brakes to create a road block, I quickly switched back to the center lane and overtook the 18 Wheeler passing everyone on the right, including the pickup.

The pickup just won’t quit… my exit is coming up now and he rushes up and passes several cars including me and jumps into the right lane seeing my signal is on as I’m about to exit the freeway he has to give me one final farewell… he jumps in my lane and deaccells to my bumper then JAMS on the brakes. I popped the shifter into ‘B’ (for Battery - it acts like an engine brake to recharge the battery quicker but has a similar effect to downshifting when braking) and he wasn’t able to get me to kiss his rear end like he intended … he speeds off as I exit the highway.

If I were in the SS he never would have stood a chance when he tried to keep me behind him by speeding up everytime he deaccelled infront of me and it would have ended much sooner. Just irritates me to no end.
