I don't doubt it's fast in a straight line. Get it a powerful enough engine to haul the mass and you are good. AWD helps with traction as well.
I bought this for the wife, so it's just a grocery getter to me. I wanted an SUV that I would enjoy driving since we have to have one. This SUV does .97 of lateral Gs, and that was the previous model with less power and unrevised springs. I posted in response to the ignorant comment made about the Brand. Most car guys I know can appreciate performance from all different brands, now fanboys, well, their fanboys.

I have a TON of parts ordered for my LT1, can't wait for them to come in. This is one of the least expensive cars I've owned over the years, and after 570 miles, one of my favorites I have ever owned. Redline Motorsports and the Whipple build is incoming
