All of the 600,000 (50-59) have been at risk at the same time as those that have gotten sick. They either did, or did not but they were in the pool.
Many more of those 600,000 did contract COVID but were not sick enough to bother getting tested to become a confirmed
documented case. WI shows case numbers that are only 13% of the population. The actual number must be double or triple that so the odds are even more in your favor.
The initial caution with COVID made sense. Within three months it was already clear that this wasn't a "Bird Box" (movie) pandemic. I resumed normal life as soon as I could in August 2020 and have never felt at risk because I understood the data and am very fit. Its become a narrative that some don't want to let go of IMO.
