Also, it's only a matter of time and a few whiplash or city spinout mayhem lawsuits before instant electric torque gets reined in (cue "excessive acceleration"), then remotely enforcing speed limits is an easy step "forward".

(Before someone calls me a luddite, I'm a sofware engineer, the problem is not technology but the way it's increasingly being used.)
