I'm not that much older than most here, but if I had gone to elementary or high school now a days, I would probably be medicated..someone would say I had something or the other...back then, a ruler to the back of the head..yep! You got my attention!
Along those lines..we never wore helmets on bikes... when we did, we PLANNED on getting hurt. I played tag with bb guns(1 or 2 pumps max) we weren't killers, I burned off my top layer of skin on a metal slide that was about 200 degrees held up by rusty pipes, and now, I can't even mention the game where you tackled the kid with the ball because that is "wrong" almost terroristic. Any one remember "Smear the..."(rhymes with deer)
