That'd be awesome for sure. They'll never be able to drop 400 lbs though, it's just too big for that, but that makes it very comfortable to drive so I'd rather have the weight personally to keep the comfort. People get too hung up over 3/10ths of a second on the track when they'll probably never even see a track. If they do, they'll do a few passes a month and drive on the street the rest of the time so it's not like we're racing these off the lot cars for a living. The 6.1 may make it's way into the R/T once the 6.4L goes into the SRT, but I don't think it'll ever be $36K :(
I don't know what makes the Challenger more expensive. It can't be just because Dodge wants to Charge more as I'm sure if they could sell it cheaper they would. Its got a lot of Mercedes parts in it so maybe that drove the production costs up?
