I saw some comments on an article today saying the 5th gen was a better design LOL. We all know the 5th gen was slower and had a plastic interior.

I was reading one today and many weenies on there say Camaro needs to be all electric to be better on the environment.

The poor visibility gripes about the 5th and 6th gen I totally understand though. However overall the Camaro LT1, SS, and ZL1 out performs the Mustang GT and Challenger in every aspect.
Ok, the poor gas mileage comment made me laugh.

I get 21-26mpg on the free way depending on which way the wind blows "literally". A V8 with 455 hp at 70-80mph that gas mileage is excellent, and actually my car gets better gas mileage than my truck lol! By about 10mpg. Yet we pay gas guzzler tax and I wonder why?

The only comment by the OP that's not true....

The GT500 beats the ZL1 in a straight line, as does the Demon. However the ZL1 beats both of them in lap time. Forget who but a Pro Driver stated he'd rather have the ZL1 in a race than the other two. Which basically means HP does not always mean you cross the finish line first. More so in a turn race which is where the Camaros are best at. (With notable exception to mods) Furthermore, Dodge Charger Hellcats pull 10.8's all day long, something a stock Camaro cannot do without mods. Even the ZL1 struggles to get below low 11's stock. (Granted 850hp vs 707hp vs 650hp vs 455hp I get it)

I love my camaro as much as the next person, but I respect the other cars as well and acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses. That said, Pound for Pound, HP for HP. The Camaro is the better car overall. With obvious exceptions to Vettes, which I put in a different class.
