I think they are making an effort in the affordability, but it is still too pricey. Lowering the base sticker price by 5K is a step in the right direction, but a base that starts at over 30K I don't think fills the bill as an affordable-for-everyone EV. They are still too expensive.
Make one even more spartan with a range of only 100 miles or less, and price it at 5-10K, and I'll buy two of them.
