My Uncle has a 1974 350 4 speed and a 2013 427 convertible 6 speed.
He's gonna go to his grave cussing GM out for not keeping a real manual transmission in the Corvette.
Even my Mom, who has a 2016 Stingray Z51 with the 8 speed auto, thinks it's crazy that a Corvette wouldn't have a real manual transmission.
There's no excuse. None. They really alienated 60 years of dedicated enthusiasts to appeal to the millenials who wouldn't know a tie rod from a cheeseburger.
The Corvette is officially a show car for rich pricks with zero car cred. GM sold out.
