The auto industry in 2020 was completely unpredictable - if you asked dealers/salesmen in the March/April timeframe, they would have told you that it would have been the worst year on record. What did happen? Huge volume of sales and inventory shortages (partially due to supply constraints, but also on the demand side).
I'm not sure what crystal ball you are looking into but if you have good intel, you should look into shorting whatever part of the stock market whose companies you think will dive in the next 12 months.
