The EV market isn't going to be as big as GM thinks it is. It's at 2% right now. Even if the government accelerates infrastructure to make a charger on every street corner and GM comes out with some magic battery that can go from 0% to complete 100% charge in 10 minutes and give you 350 miles of cruising range with a full charge WITH all the electrical load on (A/C, wipers, lights, cruise, stereo) running in stop and go traffic on a 110 degree day, it may go to 10% in 20 years.
GM is risking the future of the company if they are stupid enough to go all-in on electric and quit making V6 and V8 engines. Kiss the General goodbye in 50 years. Mark my words.
