I myself have never been brand loyal, per sé, from a young age I just happened to learn a lot about Chevy motors. Yet by the end of high school I had built a Pontiac 400 for myself & a Ford 429 for my now FiL. The only American engine I’ve never worked on is Mopars. Just never had the opportunity. So I understand your sentiment.
