I'm not convinced that a turbo in a sports car will last as long as a normally aspirated motor. A turbo may be OK in a family car that isn't shifted at or close to redline often.
Plus the LGX, like the LT1, and unlike the LTG, follow the longevity rule: No more than 100hp per liter of displacement; just like almost all Lexus vehicles. One reason why Lexus has top-notch reliability. Tuning for performance eventually runs up against diminishing returns.
