GM put the same motor in the 2500 1st Gen Avalanches. I luv the versatility of Avalanches over pickups. I know they didn’t offer a manual trans in them and surprised to hear a manual was available in the 2500hd pickups with the 8.1. Just my personal opinion but I never cared for the styling of the Avalanche. Always thought they looked like overweight pickups but that’s just me.
