No, it is not intended to be a rockcrawler like a Jeep, but it will take a fire road with 1-2 ft whoops at 70-80 miles an hour, thats what its built for. 1-2 ft whoops at 35 mph in a Jeep or production truck will break the dash in half. And for the record.....a lifted truck with big ass tires (hence your stereotype, which is probably well founded) is not an offroad capable truck either, the Raptor is very different and I applaud Ford for bringing it to the fore

Is its premise stupid?, perhaps, to people that have never raced off-road. I agree, it would be a stupid soccer mom rig. But most of the people that pre-ordered these a year ago when they were being promoted at Baja style events are truly enthusiasts that are pounding the pi*s out of them as we speak in the deserts of the Southwest. For us it does not get any better, and really no more foolish than people buying SS's when basic speed limit transportation will do

And sorry, sidenote- 1st of all cool pics.

I don't do this, but I know some people who do. And I'll tell you 38k is a bargain if it can do half of what it appears to be able to do. ^He speaks the truth.
