Actually it is and you proved it with this statement. I said anything is better than nothing.....I stated 100% of something is better than 100% of nothing. So I will take that 10 % .
And it is not about drastically altering your life. Jeez. You know sticking a knife in a wall outlet is dangerous. So do you do it?????? Wonder how many percent of the world does that? bet it is way less then those that have died from Covid. And guess what. people don't stick freaking knives in outlets! Did that drastically change their lives?????? Nope. So how is wearing a mask drastically altering your life? And just this little tidbit.....It has already been drastically altered by where you can go , when you can go and how you can go places. Mask or no mask........
And one last parting thought........Your idea about touching something and then touching your mask and wearing it for 8 hours causes infections........Wonder why the medical staff that has to take care of people who have covid are not dropping like flies. They touch the people who then touch the mask, and so on. Foolish ? Foolish is acting like everything is ok and not taking precautions.
Just like wearing PPEs at work. Does wearing steel toes drastically alter your life? Does wearing gloves around hot or sharp items drastically change your life? Does wearing eye protection drastically alter your life? No . people do these things so they can have a life to live. And these PPEs are not even a virus
With all due respect. If you want to risk the one and only life you have. Or the lives of others around you. Be my guest. Anyone...... Your choice. But I will take that 10% and run to the bank with it......I just won't ask for change
And I mean no disrespect but to say heart disease is preventable. That is incorrect.........Some heart disease is hereditary. That is why one of the first questions a doctor will ask is if there is any history of that in the family
